Well, I thought I'd try one last ditch effort before the forum goes silent again. I've noticed a few things. Hopefully my ideas can help. If you have your own ideas, please share.
1. People are making all custom characters. This is fine, but we do need a few key canon characters to keep the plot moving(Megatron comes to mind). Keep in mind that you are allowed to play a custom AND a canon. It's not a huge requirement or anything, it's just something to keep in mind.
2. People aren't interacting with what few canon characters we do have. I understand that I need to post more, but Optimus can't be all over the US at one time. I also noticed that nobody responded to Soundwave. If you're a Decepticon who's not Megatron or Starscream, you answer to Soundwave, it's how the ranks work. I'll try to push the canon players to be around more to see if that helps too.
3. On the note of ranks, I understand that much of that sort of thing is assumed knowledge in the movies that you may not know without having seen the old cartoon. So I was curious if you guys wanted me to make a few threads to help out. I can make a "Generation One" questions thread(or I can even provide YouTube links if you're interested in watching it yourself). Or even just a thread listing some simple information about their world and a few of the key characters.
4. I was also wondering if it would help to have a list of canon characters. Now, if we decide to mix it with Gen 1, this could be a very daunting list and I want to know if you guys would use that sort of thing before I start working on it. It would also provide a quick reference to what canon characters are available for new members.

Haha, if you want to.
We do need a Megs at least temporarily since that's the one canon I can't temp play. Optimus vs Megatron would be pretty difficult playing both characters.
